The Vidyalaya was set up in 1985 to meet the Educational needs of the Children of the Central Govt. employee of the District. Initially it was housed in a relief centre at Thalangara. Later it was shifted to another relief centre at Anangoor. Now, the need for a permanent building was felt more keenly than ever before.
